Who we are

KalEl Studio (“we”, “us”) is a brand operated by Khalil Alaghbar. This policy covers this website (kalel.dev) and the mobile apps we publish that link to it.

What this website collects

    Contact form: your name if you give it, your email address, your message, and the language of the page.

    App waitlists: some pages let you join the waitlist for an app in testing. They collect your email address, your name if you give it, which app, and the language of the page.
  • •
    Where you came from: if the link you followed contained tags such as utm_source, utm_campaign or ref (for example the link under a video), they are stored with your message or sign-up so we can tell which posts work.
  • •
    Technical data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and loads nothing from third parties.

How we use it

    To email you about the app you signed up for, for example when a test version or the release is ready.

    To understand which posts and ideas people respond to.

What we never do

    We do not sell or rent your personal data.

    We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Who processes it for us

A small number of service providers process data only on our instructions: Cloudflare for hosting and storing form submissions, and Proton Mail for email. Their servers may be outside your country: Cloudflare runs a global network, and Proton stores email in Switzerland.

How long we keep it

Messages: as long as needed to handle your request, and at most 24 months after our last contact. Waitlist sign-ups: until the app launches and for up to 24 months after that. You can always ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, at any time, by emailing privacy@kalel.dev. You can also reply “unsubscribe” to any email we send. We reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the data protection laws of your country, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Mobile apps

Each app we publish will get its own section in this policy before it is released, listing exactly what it collects, whether that data leaves your phone, and how long it is kept.
Subscriptions are paid through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details.

Children

This website and our apps are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will email you first.
